We invite you to share your scholarship by submitting a proposal to present at the NARST 100th Annual International Conference, “Braiding Pasts, Presents, and Futures: Crossing Borders in Performing Science Education Research.”
The conference will be held in-person on March 14-17, 2027, at the Sheraton Boston in Boston MA, USA with an additional virtual day on March 31, 2027. The program will feature special sessions and events marking NARST’s centennial milestone.
This milestone prompts a renewed commitment to diversity of people, scholarship, communities, and trajectories that shape science education research. It also provides an opportunity to recognize and engage the plurality of histories, identities, languages, geographies, epistemologies, and methodologies that shape our field, while envisioning future spaces and places in which science education transforms lives.
We encourage submissions that advance goals and aspirations of science education scholarship and practice that foster transformative inquiry, nurture vibrant communities, contribute to the pursuit of freedom in all its forms, and sustain hope for humanity.
NARST uses Oxford Abstracts as its proposal submission and review platform.
Submission deadline: Saturday, August 15, 2026, by 5:00 p.m.
