The conference theme, Science Education for the Rest of Us, is intended to foreground the purpose of science education, and to draw our collective attention to the many socio-scientific issues that are increasingly important in modern society but have yet to find a place in the standard K-12 curriculum. There is no better place to engage in this exciting work than with colleagues at the 2024 NARST Annual Conference.

Registration
We are delighted to announce the opening of the registration for the 2024 International Conference. A full in-person registration will provide access to all conference sessions, workshops, and the online conference day held prior to.
For those who can’t attend the in-person conference, a one-day Virtual conference will be offered on March 8, 2024.

Roommate Finder Service
To help manage the cost of attending for graduate students, the Graduate Student Committee is offering a roommate finder to assist in helping you locate a roommate(s).
To facilitate this process, we created a google form found here. We suggest you complete this form by January 31, 2024. After completing the form, you will have access to the spreadsheet to contact potential roommates.
Please note that the committee will not connect individuals, so you must use the spreadsheet to identify and contact individuals on your own. Furthermore, the NARST GSC does not hold responsibility (financially or otherwise) for any issues or concerns that may arise from sharing a room. We are only providing an online space to assist in connecting graduate students to find potential roommates.

Book your room now to secure a room at the official conference hotel. Rooms at the conference rate of $209 per night plus taxes and fees are on a first come first serve basis.
Refund / Cancellation Policy
Cancellations for conference attendance will be accepted in writing until February 12, 2024. Refunds will be issued less a $50 processing fee. After February 12, 2024, NO refunds will be honored as hotel food and meeting spaces cannot be changed after that time. Cancellations and refunds will only be processed after the meeting. Please allow up to four weeks for processing.
