1. New to NARST Webinar - Wed., Oct. 2
Are you a first year graduate student or new to NARST? Join our session co-sponsored with the Membership Committee to learn all about what NARST can do for you!

It is on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at 12pm ET. You do not need to be a member of NARST to attend this webinar.

2. Excellence in Mentoring Award
The NARST Graduate Student Committee is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for nominations for the 2025 Excellence in Mentoring Award. All nomination materials are due October 25, 2024

The Excellence in Mentoring Award (EMA) recognizes an exceptional mentor from the NARST community who has impacted graduate student growth both professionally and personally. If you have any questions regarding the award nomination submissions, please contact Committee Chair, Jennifer Bateman.

3. Call for 2025 Grad Student Research Symposium Abstracts
The NARST Graduate Student Committee will host the 8th Annual Research Symposium at the 2025 NARST International Conference in Washington, DC. Please encourage any graduate students in your program with research projects in progress to submit an abstract by Monday, October 7, 2024. This is a great opportunity to refine research projects alongside experienced mentors!
