Dear NARST members,

As you probably know, NARST board holds its spring meeting every year before our annual conference and right after the conference ends.

I am extremely sad about cancelling our 2020 conference. As you can imagine, as NARST President, I looked forward to this event. Yet, given the changing circumstances, high health risks, and travel restrictions, I believe that NARST board has made a proper and responsible decision.     

Most of NARST's members are from the US. Diversifying our organization will strengthen the organization, enrich our work, enable better exposure to research done in science education worldwide, and will encourage new collaborations and partnerships. I would like to take the opportunity of launching the new website to applaud all those who worked very hard in the last couple of years on this website, and especially, the website committee chaired by Dr. Scott McDonald. I look forward to see much more information posted and much more activity on the website. Any glitches will addressed and fixed as quickly as possible. -- Tali Tal, President

We are pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Troy Dow Sadler (UNC Chapel Hill) and Dr. Felicia Moore Mensah (Teachers College, Columbia University)  as the incoming Editors-in-Chief of the Journal of Research in Science Teaching (JRST).
