I am honored to be nominated for the NARST Secretary-Treasurer position. As a board member the last three years I have enjoyed serving the organization and learning about the fiscal responsibilities of the Board and the financial realities of our organization. I have greatly appreciated the work Jerome Shaw has done to move the position of Secretary-Treasurer forward. If elected, I hope to help NARST continue to move forward and find new ways to improve science education through research. I would like to see NARST become more stable financially and continue with the plans the Board has set in place over the last three years. I believe moving into this role would allow me to continue serving NARST and support its’ growth as an organization. My vision for NARST is for it to continue to grow into a thriving organization that supports the needs of ALL members.
